Whew! I made a separate account for my kids disollowing them to install whatever program they want or they got somewhere using their usb.

Hi there,
This post reminded me the same tragedy that I went through last year...I was forced to format my hard disk and all my data was gone in the wind except the one that I backed up in DVDs. Since then I stepped the security of my PC to "Z" level (Installed Net Studio USB firewall, Avast antivirus, Threatfire firewall, Spyware Doctor antispyware, disabled all autorun commands through Group Policy Editor). And these measures paid off, I have not got infected since then despite being online 24 hours. One more thing, Windows XP is more prone to be infected with viruses than Vista so it is better to use Vista to be more secure. I thought to share my experiences with you so that you may benefit.....Additionally your blog is quite informative and I am a regular reader.....keep it up
