I don’t have plan of writing about entrecard this early, I do write about Entrecard every end of the month and thank my top droppers at the same time. I already sent 300 ec credits each to 3 top winners, see image below:

Please take note of the date, Oct. 1. I tried sending 2 x 300 = 600 and 2 x 200 = 400 , a total of 1000 ec credit this morning. I’m aware of the maximum transfer of 1000 ec credit or 14 transfer a week, whichever comes higher… but my last transfer was Oct. 1, how come I cannot transfer EC credits now? I still have to transfer 2,000 ec credits to contest participants.
This is the first time I have a contest, I’m having second thoughts on running contests again in the future. With this glitch, I thought how can I make it possible to make EC credits as prizes. Take note that the contest runs for only 2 weeks (Glitch Anniversary Contest) and ended last Sept. 30, winners are announced in October 1 (Anniversary Contest Winners) and Entrecard started cutting the transfer in Sept 29.
To the participants, everyone were listed and I never forget that I owe you. I consider this as a small contest and tried handling the transfer myself but the “transfer glitch” is beyond my control. My apologies.
What to do in this situation?
- Users running large contests should contact support via their dashboard – I’m still waiting for their response, all I need is to transfer 2,000 entrecard credits for this week.
- Did you know that Entrecard already have contest coordinator? I emailed Rose and also waiting for the response. You could email her at contests@entrecard.com. Please read the link below before emailing her.
- For future contests, please read Entrecard Contest Machine
Who says I will not run contest again? That depends on Entrecard response to my problem.
Update 10.14.08: EC credits were sent through admin Ben Barden. It is advisable to contact Entrecard admin on your ec dashboard. No replied received from Rose, the contest coordinator. I’m glad, problem solved.

I feel your pain, this is so annoying. That 1,000 cap limit is the worst.
Hi, if you contact Graham he can give you a bigger transfer rate for your contest.
He needs to ok it and check that its genuine, but I dont see why he would not give it a ok.
More info can be found here: http://entrecard.com/blog/?p=568
Hope it helps.

Thanks, Lee. I already emailed them, Ben replied this morning. I send them the details, hoping for their positive response.
Ah cool
There is always a way as you have found out
Thanks. That’s the fastest reply I get, I should do that if my schedule permits me. Thumbs up.
Lee, we don’t have the ability to give people a higher transfer rate at the moment. All contest emails should first go to the contests mailbox. For support queries, the correct route is to use the feedback form on the Dashboard. It’s best not to contact Graham directly unless it’s absolutely necessary, otherwise it slows the response times when we really do need him to be involved.
Ah ok. Sorry Ben.
I was sure Graham told me that there was a system in place for this.
Fingers crossed this can be put in place soon
Seems like Ecard keeps changing the rules all the time. Hard to keep up!!
