I honestly think this is a much better and fair system now. It's based on demand for quality blogs and doesn't depend on serial droppers who inflate ad prices. It'll also help improve the overall quality of the blogs because if people want to create more demand for adverts on their blog then they need to show that the blog is of high quality, good traffic (not just from entrecard), and will actually give the advertisers value for....advertising! From an economic standpoint, this should vastly improve the quality of the entrecard system, rather than it being one giant pyramid scheme.

Add me to the naysayers as well! I'm not liking it. I was comfortable having my ad spots around 65 - 75 range..I always thought the ones above 200 were expensive. If I placed ads on the higher costing spots it was because they were popular and I knew I would get hits through those sites..but still needed to be frugal about it. There is no way I'm going to pay 4000 ec to advertise on anyone's blog or even 512 for that matter. Since I generally only drop 100 - 150 a day..it would take 4 - 5 days to be able to afford just one ad! This is crazy!

I noticed I had way more ad sales at around 130 ec's vs. my 250 ec's and now it's over 500 and i've had a few people buy it but not nearly as many. and, as long as i have someone buy here and there, it's just never going to go down which is frustrating. i like a long queue and now i'm down to like 3 people. i don't like it much.

I have to agree, the new system really stinks. I have just a little Warcraft gaming blog which has always been pretty affordable credit wise for other sites to advertise on. On a normal day I usually drop about 100 cards or so and it kept the advertising credits price between 70 - 100 per day.

Today the blog's price shot up to over 368 credits and went even higher later on! That's way too much for the average person that has a gaming blog to afford. I even went as far as to decline a lot that were waiting to and told them to re-apply later when the price dropped.

I don’t think Entrecard will still be my favorite anymore either. What a mess.

Heh. This so called new system is just so messed up. -_-

Hopefully, a better one would replace it soon.

What do you think if EntreCard adopted a Project Wonderful highest bidder gets the ad box type system aye?
