There is ongoing PageRank update again, too soon because we just had PR update two months ago. I noticed it on my Google toolbar showing this site a PR2 now. Anyway, the PR will be stable in a few days. I don’t know if migrating my blog from GoDaddy to Bluehost contributed to this.
Which reminds me, last month I removed a certain unnecessary category. As you can see, I’m using the custom permalink /%category%/%postname%/ so I maybe lose some backlinks for doing that even if I’m using a redirect plugin.
Hoping for a better outcome soon. How is everyone making out in this update? I wish its a false alarm, happy blogniversary to my blog.

It it is still a PR2 on my google toolbar, lets see after the update. Anyway, I’ve been using the permalink when I moved from wordpress.com blog for seo purpose.
If you will change now, I suppose you will also lose some backlinks or PR.
my site completely destructed. from PR4 to zero

I think page rank is going the way of Alexa…totally useless. This update I’ve seen so many blogs that have only been around for as little as a week up to 3 months old getting page ranks of 3’s 4’s and 5’s and it makes me wonder what if anything Google is basing page rank on.
Sites with great information and a lot of content seem to be getting shafted for sites with little content and few backlinks.

Talen, I knew that google have their own algorithm on giving pageranks and penalties. I’ve seen many bloggers penalized for various reasons. Anyways, some bloggers survive without pagerank.
Hi there, I can’t find your EC widget again
But anyway, Google reduced the PR on my other blog, but my second blog still has the same PR
Will migrating blog from web host affect the blog’s PageRank?
Why do you end this post by wishing that the current PR update is a false alarm?

Oh…. really good, i got my page rank 0 to 2.. hurry.
I got my website pr 0 to 1
MayG, I still see a PR3 on my PRchecker that’s why. I might broke some links on moving to another host, that’s what happened to my other blog. Well, life must go on.
Toyota, got to work hard to regain my PR. Congrats to your blog.
Sunny, That’s good.
It is interesting that Page rank appears to update at certain intervals and does not change in between those intervals. I would say that this is a good idea so that people are not always focusing on their Page rank as it can’t instantly change.
I got an upgrade to PR3 from 2. Moving the domain to a different hosting service will not affect PR.
Anyways congrats also on moving away from GoDaddy to BlueHost. BlueHost is really good (I use HostMonster – of BlueHost)

narutos last blog post..Guess How Many Times Google Will Update Pagerank
Hi. Good site.
I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.
Greetings.
