I remembered the time when I started blogging at wordpress.com. I have so many things to learn that time, I’ve read a lot of sites regarding blogging such as how to drive traffic, search engine optimization, blog submission to name a few. I admit, I had several mistakes in the past and still have many things to learn.
I’m not a guru in internet marketing but the easiest and convenient way for me when I was a newbie was to submit my blog to every free directory I came across with. Although most of the blog submission site doesn’t follow, blog exposure does matter. The mistake I made before was to submit my wordpress.com blog, even if I had plan of moving to my own domain. So, when I moved to my domain, I have to resubmit again my new link.
A piece of advice on blog submission is to find the best category that matches your blog. hmmn… this is always been my problem until now, the technology category is a general category and most of the directory I know doesn’t have mobile or other related subcategory.
