Blogging Gets Better With WordPress 2.5
This is my first post after I’ve upgraded this blog to WordPress version 2.5. Whew! Its not that easy compared to the last time I’ve update this blog. From version 2.2 to 2.3, its a minor update only. This time, I have to back up database, I even made back-up for my template since I recently have some modifications I don’t want to ruin. At first, I’m hesitant to upgrade my version. I neither have experience, but I did it without asking for any help from anybody. I’m afraid to commit mistakes, I might delete important files or worst than that.
I did it somehow, but I still saw some errors from my admin dashboard. As of the moment, the only thing I don’t like is the color of the admin panel. I’ve noticed also that we can edit the link before posting it. That’s cool! You can have a different title with a different link.
I’ll explore the new features of the new version first thing in the morning when I wake up. And share everything I learned from this experience. For now, my body and mind is telling me to sleep.

Actually, we can already do this in WordPress 2.3

Hi, Deimos. Haven’t do back-up before, just now.
Let’s say I’m excited to see the new dashboard and the added features. Post slug? plugin? Nah, haven’t heard of it. Cheers!

Aiya, “post slug” is not a plugin la.
It is a feature already introduced in WordPress 2.3, maybe because it is chucked away in a little corner, so many folks failed to know about it. :p
