An icon is a small image or pictogram. Icons have been used to supplement the normal alphanumerics of the computer. A computer icon usually ranges from 16 by 16 pixels up to 128 by 128 pixels. It has *.ico extension name and represents may represents a file, a folder or application.
On cell phones, the images you see in our menu are icons. We also use icons on favicons.
Having a hard time searching for ebook icons? I tried searching for ebook icons and landed on unavailable links or “dead end”. On java ebook conversion, we can customized the ebook icon but we have to use png file format. Using the default, the icon would looked like this.
I may be not a guru on image conversion for now but I’ll be searching for “theme icon” on mobile forums if I’ll be using it on mobile ebook. I still have some eBook icons in ico format. From now on, I will start collecting ebook icon. Personally, if I’m going to publish an eBook, it would be better if I have my own icon.
