Download eBooks using fget

fget1.JPGSometimes, downloading a file directly on our mobile phone sounds complicated to others. That depends on the mobile phone we are using, depends on the mobile’s operating system, depends on the memory are the common reasons.

There was a time that I need to download an ebook file but I’ve just formatted my mobile. I have limited access to computer at that time. Most ebooks comes in big file size, sometimes downloading them through your built-in browser (depends on the size) would cost you unreasonable price. If you’re unlucky, the connection will stop and made your download incomplete.

Successful over the air download is possible using fget. It is a mobile application that allows you to download over the air without using any browser. It works as “download manager” application for symbian 60 or S60 phone. Recommended application for downloading bigger file size, it has pause/resume download option. Works well using GPRS and Internet connection of your mobile, just make sure that you have the correct gprs/inet connection settings. Of course, the best thing is… its a freeware.
