Automatic Upgrade To Wordpress 2.6.1

I’ve devoted my time migrating glitchline to wordpress. I could say that its ok at the moment although I still have things to do on that blog. Anyway, Wordpress 2.6.1 is released, it has minor bug fixes but we can still enjoy wordpress 2.6 if we want.

2.6.1 offers several improvements for international users. Styling of the admin for right-to-left languages is much improved thanks to the efforts of the Farsi and Hebrew translation teams, and a mysterious gettext bug caused by certain PHP configurations is now fixed. For IIS users, 2.6.1 fixes several permalink problems. Image insertion problems in the Press This feature experienced by IE users are also fixed. Of note to everyone is a fix for a performance bug in the admin where those with a lot of plugins would experience slowness on some pages. -taken here.

I’m actually waiting for another updated wordpress version to test a plugin I installed two weeks ago. The said plugin, Wordpress Automatic Upgrade 1.2.1 had various negative feedbacks but it is now fix on their latest version 1.2.1 released last July 18. It did wonders on upgrading my two blogs, hassle free.

Glitchline Is Temporary Unavailable

As of this time, my personal blog is still down. I can’t update this blog for a while until its running smoothly. To my co-recipro droppers, glitchline still continued to drop on your sites. And to other glitchline droppers such as my favorites and yesterday’s droppers, I did reciprocate.

I hope everything will be okay soon.

Convert PDF To Doc With SomePDF2Word

PDF to Microsoft Word conversion? The easiest way is to open the PDF file, click edit, choose select all, copy then paste it to blank word document. How about batch conversion? Will you choose to do the repetitive steps? Count me out. The best way is to use conversion software like Some PDF To Word Converter I stumbled. A shareware that is powerful enough for batch conversion is great.

I’ve tried and tested SomePDF2Word software. Well, it is user friendly and converts PDF files easily. As I’ve said before, PDF files is the most popular and common ebook format but not easy to read on symbian mobile phones. The best way is to convert the PDF to other format and convert it to mobile ebook format you want. That depends on the ebook conversion tool you have.

G-Blogs 2.0 Still In Beta

G-Blogs is where I started blogging in 2004, it was a moblog or mobile blog. Due to many glitch of the old g-blogs system, there are rampant hacking of blogs just to prove their worth. Was it worth it? That’s a long story but without g-blogs, I maybe not here blogging. I still love g-blogs even if I did got tired of the old system. If not, I will not be blogging about it now.

Just a short recap of the old system. Old g-blogs can be access to any built in browsers before, it was possible to moblog using third party browser such as Opera, Opera Mini, Netfront etc. Legitimate bloggers can download images, audios, videos from other moblogs for Php 5 per file. I did forgot the rates already. To some, they can upload and download other files such as mobile applications, virus, ebooks and other unsupported files for FREE.

Google PageRank Update (July 2008)

My google toolbar shows that I’m now PR3 from previous PR4 for Mobile eBook Etc since May, 2008.

A short history of my PageRank: Started blogging at Wordpress.com last September and got a PR5. Moved to my own domain last January, my PageRank obviously became PR0 because of the new domain. And eventually got my PR4 last May. And now its a PR3, sometimes its PR1. Penalized? Slapped by Google? Maybe… and I seldom concentrated on my inbound links.
