Trust You Drop I Follow Button?

The You Drop, I Follow groups have finally grown like mushrooms. I’ve been making this list since I’ve posted You Drop I Follow to link everyone who participates. It doesn’t mean that they have the button or badge on their site, as long as they follow the entrecard drops “effectively”.

As I continue dropping and looking for these sites that have the button, badge or phrase on their site, my drop rank had move to “A dedicated dropper with a hint of addiction” with 120-150 drops daily. Finding these blogs somehow improved my position in the category I am with because they do return the drop. However, there are some sites claiming that they “do follow” but they don’t actually does.

These sites deserves the link here, I might also edit this article to remove or add some links. This also serves as a link building article to help one another improved our authority. To those who don’t have the button, badge or phrase near your entrecard widget, this is the best option. Its like hitting two birds with one stone. Win! Win! Win! You can make your own article of the “You Drop, I Follow” droppers and ping me back so I can added you on the list.

More Traffic With Traffic Jam

I’ve received an email from blogrush announcing the released of TrafficJam. I’m not using blogrush on this blog before. In case you didn’t know javascript doesn’t work on wordpress.com, and that’s my blog provider before I moved to my own host. Anyway, I’ve used blogrush to my other blog and eventually decided to delete my blog from blogrush and removed the widget from my blog. Take note, I’ve deleted my blog but not cancelled my account.

Many bloggers have post their disappointments with blogrush and I’ve read some of them. They have posted them when blogrush “cleaned” their community few months ago. Actually, I am among the bloggers that my widget still worked on my blog and I am proud with that. But the thing is, I had the widget on my blog for almost 1 1/2 month and can’t see any traffic coming from blogrush. I was really disappointed but I took off the widget “NOT” for that reason. I took it off because of the slow loading time when the widget was on my blog. Did you notice your blog’s loading time with or without the widget?

Mobile eBooks Etc is giving blogrush another try just because of Traffic Jam. I have added my blogs again to blogrush and use the widget hoping that TrafficJam would work. Let me share a part of their email.

Want your posts to appear on TrafficJam.com? If you have the BlogRush widget installed on your blog it will happen automatically when any of your posts ’score’ well with TJ’s algorithm.

A big ‘key’ for scoring well, which is the same key to get traffic from BlogRush, is to learn to write powerful, yet specific blog post TITLES. Poke around TJ and notice the titles. Almost all of them are very SPECIFIC.

For example, rather than having a post say, “Today Was A Really Bad Day” it’s more effective if it says, “Why I Almost Smacked My Boss Today” or “Ever Split Your Pants At Work?” etc. etc.

TJ’s Algorithm? I still don’t know how it works but looking forward to a much better traffic with Traffic Jam.

Update (Nov. 13, 2008): I removed the links, Blogrush and TrafficJam was closed.

My Entrecard Do Follow Principle

Do we really have to use a button to let others know that we do follow if they drop their card on our blog? I don’t think so… as long as we practice the principle on a regular basis, a fruitful result will always follow in the long run.  Having a “You Drop, I Follow” button on your site is a wise thing to do, but you can also make your own button or titled your widget as “You Drop, I Follow” just like what I did on my site.

Always remember that we are avoiding the high bounce rate just like the “hotshots” are talking about. Don’t do unto others what you don’t want others do unto you.” Don’t just drop just because you want to return the favor. See the profile… Check the drop rank… Check the blog’s category… Then check on the blog before dropping your card. You might find an article that interests you wherein you might also want to comment. The basic idea here is not to follow only, but to develop a good relationship to the co-members of entrecard… to make a better blogosphere. You might also found a perfect site to advertise that will drive an appropriate traffic on your blog.

Who doesn’t need entrecard credits? Maybe the blogosphere’s hotshots. LOL! But most of the bloggers need the credits in able to place adverts to other blogs. Of course, but there are contests that you’ll miss if you don’t browse the site before dropping your card.

Download eBooks using fget

fget1.JPGSometimes, downloading a file directly on our mobile phone sounds complicated to others. That depends on the mobile phone we are using, depends on the mobile’s operating system, depends on the memory are the common reasons.

There was a time that I need to download an ebook file but I’ve just formatted my mobile. I have limited access to computer at that time. Most ebooks comes in big file size, sometimes downloading them through your built-in browser (depends on the size) would cost you unreasonable price. If you’re unlucky, the connection will stop and made your download incomplete.

Valentine’s Day Quote SMS Made Easy

Love quotes… Valentine’s Day quotes… romantic quotes… these are the kind of keywords searchable now. People young at heart in every walks of life are searching for SMS quotes. Its affordable and convenient way of greeting our loved ones on Valentine’s Day.

Okay, provided that you’ve seen an appropriate SMS for your honey, for your relatives and friends. What is the best way to send them easier? If I wasn’t mistaken, I’ve been using this mobile application for over a year on my S60 mobile phone. It made sending group SMS hassle-free, simple to use and not time consuming.

NaSMS is a mobile application that allows you to send group SMS easier. The nice thing with this application… while the group SMS is still sending (using NaSMS), you can still send and receive SMS on your built-in messaging without interruption. They’ve released the latest Symbian9 S60 3rd edition version 1.5 in sisx format last February 9, 2008. I’m still using the older version 1.3 since it is the version compatible on my 6630.

If you’re still not successful on finding the appropriate Valentine’s Day SMS for your loved ones, you might want to check this Love SMS compilation.
