You Drop, I Follow Experiment
My personal blog and this blog is practicing the “You Drop, I Follow” rule for entrecard dropping. As I’ve blog hopping last night, I’ve seen many blogs practicing the same rule. Dropping entrecard is not that easy, it takes time. Using Firefox made it easier than using IE7. Anyway, based on my observation, I’ve dropped 100 cards and did received a return drop of 15% or almost 15 drops to this blog. Its not worth it since I’m recently doing it here (this blog). Actually, my personal blog is receiving more return drops since I’ve started practicing it.
How to know them? They have the ”You Drop, I Follow” button below their entrecard widget. Although I don’t have that button, I’ve named my widget as “You Drop, I Follow”.
I’ll be posting the list of blogs using the same rule soon. I browse Pinoy EC list, and found out that there are not more than 5 including this blog and my personal blog are using the rule from over 150+ Filipino Entrecard users. I guess, filipino are still not aware or maybe they are busy preparing for the Valentine’s Day. hehehe…
I've Joined Project Wonderful
Did you noticed the project wonderful widget at the left side of my sidebar? I’ve signed up last week. I first seen them at Entrecard admin panel. That time, there are 6 slots and 4 slots are still available and it was free for $0.00. What? Free advertising? At Entrecard admin panel? That’s cool!
So, I’ve immediately signed up but received my “confirmation” email two days ago. I don’t know why it took that long. Well, who cares, as long as I have my own widget on my site, it doesn’t matter. hehehe…
Well, I hope that it will work on my site since I’ve changed my domain this month and still working on with my traffic. Gosh! More traffic means better income from project wonderful. There’s no such thing as free advertising but project wonderful made it possible. Duh!

How I Started On Mobile eBooks
Four years ago, I was an active member of a girl forum. Most of the topics were mostly women’s talk, one thread caught my attention. It was Harry Potter’s comparison between the movie & the book. They’ve said, book version was far better than the movie. I want to disagree but I haven’t read any book of Harry Potter series. I want to have a copy but I cant afford it at that time. Then I searched for an alternative option, I saw a link on that forum, one of the member share her pdf copy of HP books. I’ve download them and researched on how can I have them read on my mobile phone, I was using Nokia 3650 at that time.
Since I’m into blogging already, I asked almost all of the co-bloggers for help. Sad to say, nobody got the answers. Buying a PDA was neither an option. There must be a solution! hehehe… I saw a thread at the “for sale” section of that forum. She’s selling ebooks as sideline, ebooks at 10php each in different formats. Order a minimum of 10 ebooks @ 10php (promo). Regular price was 50php per ebook. Have to try them first if its possible so I’ve ordered ebooks in pdb format. Why pdb? Because buyers order ebooks for their pc or pda. *.pdf for pc and *.pdb for pda.
After I’ve received the files through email, I saved them on my email’s briefcase, went to my cousin’s internet shop. I don’t have my own PC at that time. He have this bluetooth service on his shop, my suggestion actually. Anyway, he sent the files to my cellphone via bluetooth. Then I searched for a mobile application that reads pdb files. I saw handybook reader, installed it and used it for my purchased ebooks. And that’s how my mobile ebook reading hobby started.

The Requested Theme Does Not Exist
This is the first problem I’ve encountered here when I’ve tried customizing my template. It took me few hours figuring it out how I have this kind of error. Its confusing that after a few revisions of template colors when I’ve clicked the “update file”, the error appeared. I’ve tried it for several times.
Huh? What happened? Where did I go wrong? After a few search, I’ve found out that the culprit is the ampersand sign or “&” inserted at the theme name. Yeah, its not easy revising my template but I already did a little changes. I’ve changed the post title color, h2 and h3 background colors, some adjustments with the margins and paddings. I cannot finish my customization with one sitting, expect more changes with my template as I continue learning the codes.
