Free eBooks Download
Ok, I gave up. Since I cannot post mobile ebooks here for copyright reasons, I guess it won’t harm my blog if I post some of the websites I know for free ebook download. I’m also receiving some email inquiries about ebook links. If you intend to read the ebooks on mobile, don’t forget to browse the ebook conversion because most websites are using ebook format not intended for mobile and as well as the mobile application needed for your mobile ebook reading. Otherwise, just download the necessary ebook reader for your computer.

Entrecard Launched Official eBook
Its been a while since I made my last post regarding Entrecard. Entrecard came out with new awesome features. The linked blog feature allows entrecard users to add multiple blogs to their account. This is good news to bloggers who have multiple blogs, no need to sign out and sign in back again to another account just to drop cards. I’ve already linked my personal blog, its so easy to use now. The switch link can be found at the upper right side, beside the email address. No need to clear cookies now and sending credits to my other blog is just a click.
Anyway, entrecard will be giving away a total of 75,000 credits to people who add new blogs to their accounts, 15,000 for every bracket below. Since I already added my personal blog, I qualify for 2-5 blogs.
- 2-5 blogs in account
- 5-10 blogs in account
- 10-15 blogs in account
- 15-20 blogs in account
- 20-25 blogs in account
Another good news is Entrecard launched their official ebook. Should you be a beginner or you may want to know other information about entrecard, you may find it interesting. Click here to download the pdf format ebook. I also converted the file to repligo format so that I can read it on my mobile during my free time and share it here. And here is the repligo format.

eBook Or Blook?
Should a blogger need a goal to target on blogging? Everything we do in real life, we always have goal. Without one, we cannot achieve anything or finish the task. Same thing with blogging, aside from earning to maintain the blog, we should have a goal.
I was thinking of compiling my important articles regarding mobile ebook just like some hotshot bloggers are doing, for now that’s my goal. I have to complete first my articles based on my requirements and knowledge. A flowchart of how the ebook should be serves as my guide now to Mobile eBook Etc‘s future articles.
Anyway, I came across with the word “blook“, sounds like out of this world for me. Let me share wikipedia‘s definition, a blook can refer to either an object manufactured to imitate a bound book, an online book published via a blog (book for blog), or a printed book that contains or is based on content from a blog. Actually, its a long been used blogging word, invented sometime in 2002 and recognized in 2006. I saw some blog that contents are stories, a blog post is equal to a chapter.
Going back to hotshot bloggers, they are offering free ebook to their readers in exchange for subscribing to their blog’s feeds. Some of them are posting beside the subscribe button the word free ebook. Should they put the words free ebook or free blook since the ebook they offer are their blogs popular contents? To a non-blogger reader, ebook is self explanatory and well known word than blook. That simple as it is.

Download eBooks using fget
Sometimes, downloading a file directly on our mobile phone sounds complicated to others. That depends on the mobile phone we are using, depends on the mobile’s operating system, depends on the memory are the common reasons.
There was a time that I need to download an ebook file but I’ve just formatted my mobile. I have limited access to computer at that time. Most ebooks comes in big file size, sometimes downloading them through your built-in browser (depends on the size) would cost you unreasonable price. If you’re unlucky, the connection will stop and made your download incomplete.
MobiReader, A Free Powerful eBook Reader

Mobipocket Reader for Symbian smartphone is another powerful eBook reader, the best thing of being powerful is its free. LOL! Who doesn’t want a free mobile application nowadays?
Why is it powerful? Take a look at the left part of my screenshots, it is the default introduction of MobiReader. It’s in prc format but it looked like a html format, it seems that you’re browsing from a third party browser of your symbian phone because of the link function. The introduction is way ahead better from other eBook reader introduction, you can’t believe that the application is free. Would you believe that you can open your eBook 1.03, prc format with MobiReader. I’ve tried that, take a look at the right side of the screenshot, it did worked. The trick here is if you have eBook 1.03 files, just transfer them to e:\eBooks — this is the default location of MobiReader and presto! You can read them with MobiReader, it is in the library already.
I’ve tried opening a txt format file with MobiReader, it worked as well. But even if you moved the txt file to designated folder, you cannot see it at the library. Just open the txt file via FExplorer.
I’ve mention from my earlier entries that eBook reader compatibility is one of my criteria on choosing a new symbian phone. No problem about the requirement anymore, MobiReader will surely handle my old collection of prc format eBooks.
