Angels And Demons, The Movie
After Da Vinci Code, Robert Langdon is back. This time to Angels And Demons starring Tom Hanks as Landon. Da Vinci Code was almost banned in the Philippines because the church have doubts on the delicate topic about Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ. Now, I’m talking about religion on my techie blog. Hey, do I need to mention that Angels And Demons is a book by Dan Brown which I read in repligo mobile ebook.
Going back, I watch the news tonight, an interview with Ewan McGregor who played Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca in the movie. He said that there’s nothing to worry about the movie because there was no conspiracy in the storyline. Maybe he said that because of the movie Da Vinci Code impact to Catholics. In the ebook world or in the bookworms, Dan Brown books is indeed a huge success. I read them all in my mobile phone.
I could say that when the church talked about the movie rating (Da Vinci Code), it did helped make it big. People got curious and watched it. To bookworms, this is one of the movie you should not failed to see. I didn’t allowed my kids to see Da Vinci Code, looking forward to Angels And Demons MTRCB rating in the Philippines.
Let me share part of the sypnosis:
Robert Langdon is facing one of the most powerful underground organizations in history, the Illuminati. In the Angels & Demons movie, Langdon must stop the Illuminati from destroying its most hated enemy, the Catholic Church, which they plan to attack at the heart of their most treasured and revered place, Vatican City. Our hero races to Rome to uncover the 400 year old clues and symbols that will help him save the Vatican, all of which happen to be in the ancient Illuminati safe house. The heart stopping thriller will have you in tense mode as the never ending battle between science and religion comes to a climax.
The prequel Angels And Demons to novel Da Vinci Code was first published in 2000. I read it sometime in 2004 already. It became an international bestseller, surpassing The Da Vinci Code in its reviews. The release is scheduled for May, 2009.
Spying Over Burn After Reading
Noticed my Nuffnang ads on this blog? I’m really impressed with how their system works, I’m glad that it worked on my blogs and I’m already earning on compared to other ads I used before. Take note that I removed most of my ads that didn’t work and Nuffnang remain.
The best thing I love with Nuffnang is they have extra activities other than running their ads. How about watching a movie with your co-nuffnangers? I never attended any blog event before, given the chance and get lucky enough this will the first and I think this will be the memorable one.
Haven’t been to Robinson’s Galleria for a decade (just an estimate). Its about time to step my feet there again and watch the premiere of “Burn After Reading” starring my favorites Brad Pitt and George Clooney in this comedy/action movie. I love Nuffnang for organizing an event like this and that makes them different from the rest. hmmn… I wonder why the movie titled “Burn After Reading”… for sure, watching it with fellow co-nuffnangers is a memorable experience for me.

Good news to muggle Harry Potter fans and JK Rowling fans, the official international movie trailer has been released. The Harry Potter book 6 or Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be shown on July 29, 2009. I’m really excited learning about this. Although I felt down after reading the book, it made me excited to wait for the release of the last book. And now that we already have the release date of the Harry Potter 6 movie, I already feel the moviegoers’ reaction on the ending of the movie. To muggle fans, you know what I mean. This is the most controversial book by JK Rowling among the Harry Potter series where a major character closed to Harry Potter died.

Synopsis: (Spoiler below this line)
Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a bit different, never caring about or fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother Renee (Sarah Clarke) remarries and decides to move with her new husband to Florida, and Bella decides to go live with her father, Charlie (Billy Burke), in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she’s ever met. Intelligent and witty, his piercing eyes see straight into her soul. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than any cheetah, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands, and he hasn’t aged since 1918. Most importantly, he’s a vampire. Like all vampires, he’s immortal. Yes, he has fangs, but he doesn’t drink human blood (they’re vampire “vegetarians”), which is rare among the vampire population. Instead, they go on regular “hiking” trips, where they feed on prey such as grizzly bears and mountain lions. For Edward, Bella is the thing he has waited ninety years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. And what will they do when James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi), and Victoria (Rachel Lefevre) come into town and James sets his sights on Bella? Will true love prevail when Edward is forced to save her life and conquer his thirst? The true question is, When you can live forever, what do you live for?

Top 10 Comic Book Movies
Aside from eBooks, there was a time that I’m addicted to comic books which I could say that it was an influence. No regrets, I enjoyed reading comic books especially when the movie versions was released. Its not weird comparing the movie and comic book or book, its natural.
