UCALL: Unlimited Call From Globe Telecoms

Good news and bad news to Globe prepaid and postpaid subscribers! Globe Telecoms are currently offering Unlimited Call, that's the good news. The bad news is... the promo is available to selected provinces only. It could be for testing purposes, a dry run if they could offer it nationwide. I hope they do because other rival companies already did long time ago. Even before the House Senate signed the new guidelines for longer expiration of prepaid loads and other communication issues.

Globe PixLink Free Trial

PixLink WebsiteGlobe Telecoms has launched a new service which allows Globe postpaid and prepaid subscribers to upload pictures and videos to Facebook, Youtube, Flickr, Blogger, Picasa and G-Blogs using their mobile phones.

Just like Unlichat introductory offer, the service is free until further notice. There are two ways to register, go to Globe Pixlink website or text the word PIXLINK to 2988. Then you can download the application. It was launched in Thursday and still in beta, I haven’t received my mobile application yet. I wonder when can I test it.

The service is possible because of the partnership between Globe Telecoms and US-based mobile software service PixSense. Seeing the quality of pictures shown on their website made me excited to try the service. I guess, its an easier and another way to backup pix and vids stored in our phone temporarily.

UPDATE: I’ve tested it already Sunday morning of March 1. Its not a free trial, the connection fee is free while you register via wap. After registration, when you open the mobile application, you have to choose to subscription option. Php 30/day, Php 60/2days and Php 120/5days to use the service.
